Webquest
A webquest is designed for enrichment outside of school. With the help of an adult, students can navigate the Internet to complete different projects. Students will search for information, use interactive websites, and print out reproducibles to hand in.

Letter B Webquest
1. Visit the site www.starfall.com
Click on the ABC's button.
Click on the letter B and follow the directions.

2. Visit the site http://www.berks.lib.pa.us/
Find the tumblebooks icon and click on it.
Click on the red story books button.
The books are alphabetically listed. Find the book Bugs, Bugs, Bugs by Bob Barner.
Read the book Bugs, Bugs, Bugs online.

3. Visit the site http://www.colapublib.org/srp08/backyardeng.pdf
Print out the paper.
Circle all of the bugs in the bugs in the picture and color the rest of the picture.
Put your name on the paper and hand it in to me.


Healthy Kids Webquest
This webquest is designed to help you understand a little bit more about healthy eating habits. You will read a story and explore some sites to see if you are a healthy eater. There is an assignment for you so we can share some ideas for healthy eating habits.

Find the tumblebooks icon and click on it.
Click on the red story books button.
The books are alphabetically listed. Find the book Little Pea by Amy Krouse Rosenthal.
Read the book Little Pea online.

2. Visit the site http://nirc.cas.psu.edu/pdf/littlpyr.pdf
Make a print out of the food guide pyramid for 2-6 year olds.
Fill in the sheet with your foods for the week.
Bring the sheet in to share with the class.

3. Now that you know a little bit about what healthy eating looks like, go the site http://www.mypyramid.gov/kids/kids_game.html
Click on the launch game to play.

Don't forget to keep track of what you eat for an entire week, then bring the sheet in to share with the class. Great job. Stay Healthy!
